Norfolk and Suffolk Women's Voices Partnership

A network interested in improving health and care services for women*

*Services for women covers all people that need or use women's health services (including women, intersex people, transgender men and non-binary people registered as female at birth).

Why we are creating the partnership

People across Norfolk and Suffolk are coming together to make sure lived experiences help shape local women's health services.

Over the last few years, thousands of people across Suffolk, Norfolk and Waveney have shared their experiences through co-production, engagement activities and service improvement programmes. Their insights have helped shape new services, influence decision-making and improve understanding of what matters most to people accessing women's health support. Please view the project reports attached to this page for more detail.

We know this work is most effective when it is done together. That is why we are establishing the Norfolk and Suffolk Women's Voices Partnership.

The partnership will bring together people with lived experience, family members, carers, community organisations, voluntary sector partners, health and care professionals and anyone with an interest in improving women's health services.

Together, we will:

  • Share experiences, ideas and insight
  • Help identify priorities and areas for improvement
  • Inform the design and development of services
  • Support work to reduce inequalities
  • Ensure women's voices are heard in decisions about health and care
  • Create opportunities for collaboration across communities and organisations
