From November 2026, a new service will be launching across Norfolk and Suffolk called WorkWell.
We are looking for your help to design WorkWell. You can:
take part in a short survey below to share your experiences and ideas
be part of a working group to help select the right service provider for WorkWell
Please read on to find out more!
What is WorkWell?
Being in safe and secure work has been proven to improve your health. WorkWell will be a new support programme for people of working age who are worried about work because of their health or disability.
It’s for people who:
are at work but struggling with their job because of health issues
are finding it hard to get back to work after being off sick or needing frequent periods of sickness absence
want to work but are facing barriers like ill health, low confidence, or caring responsibilities
How does WorkWell help?
WorkWell offers early, personalised support to help people stay in work, return to work, or move closer to employment. Support is joined up, so you won’t have to tell your story again and again.
The programme can help with:
physical and mental health
confidence and wellbeing
working with your employer to make adjustments at work for you
skills and training
finding the right employment support
connecting with local community services
Why WorkWell matters?
By bringing health, work, and local services together in one place, WorkWell aims to:
make it easier to get the right help at the right time
support people before problems get worse
improve health and wellbeing
reduce unfair differences in health and work opportunities
The overall goal is to help more people stay well and supported while working, or while taking steps towards work.
Please use the form below to share your experience and ideas.
You can also leave your details to find out more about being part of the working group to help select the right service provider for WorkWell.
If you have any questions or want to find out more, please contact Laura, WorkWell Development Manager (NHS Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board): laura.bernard1@nhs.net or call 01473 770261
Thank you!
