Introduction

NHS Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board is working with health and care partners to develop its Strategic Plan for commissioning community services.

It is important to us to continue to hear as much feedback and as many ideas as possible from those who experience the services as patients, carers and providers.

What have we already heard?

We are building on the extensive engagement with people and communities that has already taken place across Norfolk and Suffolk (download here), as well as other stakeholder conversations.

There are many community services across Norfolk and Suffolk. We have grouped these into seven, recognising there is much interplay between them. You can view these groupings within this link.

First we will ask you about your experience as a professional or service user, and then you will have a choice to give your views on specific services or spanning all services. Finally, you will have the opportunity to comment on the working principles for commissioning community services.

4 key questions inform our planning:

  1. What is working well?
  2. Which services should be prioritised for growth?
  3. What feels inefficient or frustrating?
  4. What big changes should we prioritise for the future?

Please keep each point concise and, where possible, describe the evidence or experience behind it, who would benefit, and the likely impact.

Please respond by Friday 30th October 2026

Thank you!

Which area(s) are you feeding back about? *

* required

We will now ask you if you want to feed back on community services as a whole, or specific service areas.

The specific service areas are:

  1. Children and young people - development, prevention and early intervention
  2. Children and young people - ongoing health needs and specialist care
  3. Children and young people - complex, additional and coordinated care
  4. Adult specialist services - long term condition management, prevention and short term support
  5. Adult community nursing - urgent and planned care
  6. Adult recovery and rehabilitation (including all age equipment services)
  7. Adult specialist palliative and end of life care

You can view a visual of the groupings within this link.
